Panglao Island and Bohol  also have a lot to offer for those who are non-divers. In addition to the beach, dive boats, and snorkelling , there are: the famous Chocolate Hills (a landscape of over 1.000 small hills),  waterfalls with bathing areas, river travel through the rain forest, and several tropical islands attainable by boat. All of these trips make for great, relaxing excursions.

 For the motor-cyclist, off-road bikes are available for rent at the beach.

If you are interested in shopping at a large, urban shopping center, a day trip to Cebu City is highly recommended.
