Bohol is connected to the small island of Panglao where Alona Beach is located by two bridges. From Tagbilaran, your destination of Alona Beach can be reached in several ways. The public bus to Panglao/Tawala, costs 12 pesos, with a travel time about 1 hour. Tricycle taxis (converted motorcycles) cost about 150 pesos, and take up to 1 hour. Probably the most convenient option is by taxi, with a cost of approximately 300 pesos, travel time about 1/2 hour. Guests who have advance bookings with Atlantis Dive Center may be picked-up, either from the airport or ferry terminal and brought directly to Alona Beach. Alona Beach is probably the most beautiful and popular beach on the island. As it is the most developed, it offers the best in culinary and sporting opportunities for the perfect diving vacation. |
